In my work I try to simplify shapes and details in an attempt to understand the nature and underlying structure of a particular environment. I am drawn to dramatic light that creates shadows and reflections to explain the form of an object and hint at what lies beyond the boundaries of the frame. I love to use saturated colours that give images a dreamlike quality and create ‘other worldly’ atmospheres.
