Last week I entered two pictures into a local group show that is on this weekend… A little ambitious perhaps since I still had no paints, canvases or paintings here at the time! The pressure did the trick however, I went straight out and bought all the necessary equipment and frames and have knocked up a couple of nice little pieces. This is the first … “Poolbeg Chimneys” (the view I sketched on my ipad worked up in oils). Better proportions on the chimneys now, and I’m pleased with the pink light.
